Mr Derek F. Quigley.[ National Party candidate for: Sydenham in the last General Election, and Mrs Quigley were presented with a fireside ehair at a function held recently by the electorate Mr L H. McCalman. chairman of the electorate, presided and paid tributes to Mr Quigley’s work during the campaign. The divisional chairman (Mr E. P. Wills) also spoke. Messrs L. R. H. Bunt (Greymouth) and R. J. Gillatt. B P Hogan. L. D. Payne, and H. W. Rademaker (Christchurch) have been admi’ted to membership of the New Zealand Society of Accountants as associate registered accountants.
