PROPERTY LEFT ON PLANES
Women Passengers Less Forgetful
Women air travellers are less forgetful than men. especially where hats are concerned. This is, perhaps, because women usually keep their hats on during a flight This is one of the many interesting conclusions which can be drawn from the statistical data of the lost property department at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. Forty-five per cent, at the total “crop” of lost property, including toys which are often forgotten by mothers, appears to have been left behind by women Only 11 per cent, of the headgear found comprises women's hata. On the other hand, women left behind 9f per cent, of the scarves, 60 per cent, of the umbrellas and 61 per cent of the sunglasses found. Even prams are left aboard aircraft.
