Sir.—Your leading article suggests that ‘‘prolonged difficulties caused by the Second World War" are a factor in the delay in erecting large buildings in Christchurch. This factor does not seem to have prevented Auckland and Wellington from erecting such buildings. It is time Christchurch decided to wake up —Yours, etc.. NEMO. May 11. 19dl.
