MR H. DENNISTON

Mr Hugh Denniston, who died in Buenos Aire* thia week, was a son of Sir John Denniston, who was a Judge of the Supreme Court in Christchurch from 1889 to 1919.

Mr Denniston attended Christ’s College from 1895 to 1888, and served with Tullibardine’s Scottish Horse in the South African War. After the war he and a regimental colleague went to Patagonia and took up ranching. Mr Denniston remained there for the rest of hia life. A brother and a sister live yi Christchurch.
