(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE, May 12 Broken Hill Pty. Company, Ltd., has formed a new £lm mineral exploration company. The company, Haematite Explorations Pty., Ltd., has been registered at the Titles Office. Nominal capital is £lm in £1 shares. The managing director (Mr N. E. Jones) said last night the company had been formed to handle some of B.H.P.’s current and future exploration expenditure. In line with its memorandum, the company would cover general mineral exploration and would not be restricted to the search for iron ore, Mr Jones said. B.H.P. holds an oil-explora-tion lease in Bass Strait and other extensive mineral leases in Queensland, North, era Territory, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.
