RAID ON HOSTEL
Two Students Discharged
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 12. Two university students appearing on remand in the Magistrate’s Court today in connexion with a students' night raid on a girls’ hostel last week when girls were pulled from their beds and the police called, were discharged by Mr J. B. Thomson, S.M.. under Section 42 of the Criminal Justice Act. The two students. Alan Archibald Kerr, aged 17. and lan William Sligo McGillivray, aged 17, told the
Court they had since apologised to the matron of the hostel and had contributed £8 to the university charity as suggested by the Court last week.
