Armin Hary. the 24-year-old Olympic gold medal winner and world 1(M) metres record holder, announced yesterday he had withdrawn from active sports life and would not race any more, 1 eported American Associated Press. Hary's announcement was made by his lawyer, Dr Carlo Foerster. Hary had suffered a knee miury in a Berlin car accident on November 26, and tbe injury had nrt fully healed. Dr. Foerster said. “It would take at least a year before I could nee again." Hary said. ’’Not being able to tram for one year for an athlete of my age means I will never regain my top form.”
