Golf Godfrey Wins Maori Title

WHAKATANE, May 11. W. J. Godfrey (TitirangD won the New Zealand Maori golf championship at Whakatane today. He beat the defending champion, T. Onnsbv (Waitomo) 2 up tn the final which was played in torrential rain. The women's title was won by Mrs T. Lawrence (Springfield) who beat Mrs E. K.
