N.Z.-MALAYA AGREEMENT

Exchange Of Ratification

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 10.

The instruments of ratification of the Malayan-New Zealand Trade Agreement signed in Wellington in February will be exchanged in Kuala Lumpur on June 1. The certificate of exchange will be signed on behalf of New Zealand by the High Commissioner in Malaya (Mr C. M. Bennett) and for the federation by the Minister of Commerce and Industry (Inche Khir Bin Johari). The agreement will officially come into force on June 2, the Prime Minister <Mr Holyoake) said.
