VETERINARY COLLEGE
Submissions On Site
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. May 10. An assurance that he would not be influenced by political motives in making his recommendation on the site of the proposed New Zealand veterinary college was given by the new Minister of Agriculture (Mr Hayman) in Dunedin today, Mr Hayman was making a brief reply to submissions given by a combined deputation from the Otago branch of Federated Farmers.
The submission advocated the siting of the school at Dunedin close to the Otago Medical School. Earlier this morning, Mr Hayman inspected the vacant buildings of the old Taieri R.N.Z.A.F. station which have been suggested as accommodation for all or part of the college.
