Sir Leonard Isitt Recovered

WELLINGTON, May 10

Sir Leonard Isitt, chairman of the National Airways Corporation and of Tasman Empire Airways, Ltd., has made an excellent recovery from an operation of a fortnight ago and this morning left Bowen Street Hospital tor his home at Paraparaumu.

Ambulance Competitions.— Interested members of the public, and particularly the parents and relatives of the cadets involved, have been invited to attend the district cadets’ competitions of the Christchurch sub-centre of the St. John Ambulance Association, The competitions will begin at 6.30 p.m. tomorrow.
