Chiropractors’ Act

(N.Z Press Association) GISBORNE, May 10. “The recent Press Association message from Wellingt. regarding the Chiropractors' Act appears to be another step in the direction of confusing the public of the real issue at stake,” said Mr R. W. Mitchell, president of tha New Zealand Chiropractors’ Association in Gisborne today. “I fully realise that the act which gives registration to all qualified chiropractors has been classified as a con. troversial issue but that is no reason why a law of the land should not be put into operation at the time specified by the act, namelv January, 1961,” said Mr Mitchell. This Act of Parliament is mandatory and because it has not already been imple. mented shows a gross injustice on the part of the Government
