LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
1, Letters sent to the Editor for printing must be written in ink on one side of the paper only, and writers must send in their names and addresses in full, whether they wish these to be published or not 2. Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers. 13. The Editor cannot return or I keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing, nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters, although this will be done where it seems to be needful. or enter into any correspondence. 4. Hiram Hunter.—Would re-open a big question for the discussion of which we cannot find space at present. Kick ’em Out.—lf you have evidence that, as teachers, they are using their position to influence their students politically, you should produce it. Otherwise your sweeping condemnation is unfair and therefore inadmissible here. Punter. —There was a misprint in the article. Fifty-four 5s tickets were held on the successful combination at Te Rapa, where there was a doubles pool of £86.863 10s. including £75,470 10s invested through tiie T.A.B. Three 10s tickets were held on the Red Emperor—Maida Dillon combination, which paid £7948 9s at Addington.
