Threw Children From Window
(N.Z.P A -Reuter—Cnpurifjht) GLASGOW, May 8. A 37-year-old spinster threw five children from a third-storey window, killing one of them, because she preferred to hang rather than return to a mental hospital, a Court in Glasgow was told today. The woman, Miss Jean Barclay Waddell. was charged with the murder of a 4-year-old girl, and the attempted murder of four other children. She was found insane and unfit to plead.
