APPLICATIONS in respect of Air Service Licences have been recevied as described in the scnedule hereunder and a public sitting of the Licensing Authority will be held on Monday, July 3, 1961, in Wellington < venue and time of hearing will be notified later), for the purpose of receiving evidence in favour of or against the granting of the applications. Any person or ox’ganisation wishing to object to or to support the granting of any application is directed to give notice thereof to the Licensing Authority and to any applicant concerned at least three clear days prior to the date of hearing. A notice of objection must state therein in general terms the grounds of objection. SCHEDULE MONDAY, JULY 3, 1961. an application by the NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL AIRWAYS CORPORATION. P.O. Box 96, Wellington, for a scheduled passenger and freight service between Christchurch-Nelson- Palmerston North-Auckland and vice versa by Friendship aircraft. operating on Mondays. Fridays, and Sundays of each week until December 19, 1961. when the frequency will be increased to one service daily, seven days a week. Palmerston North, Napier. Wellington. Napier and Rotorua (Taupo until Rotorua airfield developed). Hamilton (with or without intermediate stop at Takapau). Masterton and Wellington. Nelson and Palmerston North, Christchurch. Wellington and Rotorua (Taupo until Rotorua airfield developed), Christchurch. Christchurch and Dunedin (with or without intermediatestop at Oamaru). Dunedin and Invercargill (with or without intermediate stop at Alexandra). (b) NON-SCHEDULED SERVICES: In accordance with traffic demands as in paragraph two (a) and between the following additional termini: Auckland and Bay of Islands (Kaikohe until Bay of Islands airfield developed). (4) To remove the restrictions under Licence No. 238 (B) (b) to enable the applicant to operate joy rides and scenic flights provided the Company grants the local A**ro Club (where applicable five per cent. (5%) of the net profits of such operations. (5) To amend the Charter rate fixed under Appendix B. Clause 2. of the said licence to the same rates as charged by National Airways Corporation in respect of the same type of aircraft. (8) To operate an Air Taxi Service from all Aerodromes or Traffic Centres from which it is licensed tn operate Charter Sendees to all Aerodromes in New Zealand.
