Proposed Game With West Coast
Canterbury's Association football representative team may travel to Greymouth for a match against West Coast on May 21. An invitation from the West Coast was received by the management committee of the Canterbury Football Association at its meeting last evening. The West Coast team will play Nelson in a Peter Dawson Cup match at Greymouth on Saturday, May 20, and has requested a match with Canterbury the next day. It was decided that the availability of players for this match should be investigated. The Canterbury , selector (Mr W. W. Carruthers) will attend the West Coast-Nel-son match at the invitation of the West Coast body. ,
