Fijians At University.— The number of Fijian students annually passing the complete New Zealand University examination has more than doubled in five years—from 14 in 1955, to 37 in 1959 says the Suva public relations office. Expenditure on overseas scholarships rose from £3044 in 1955, to £18.300 last year, and is expected to reach £28,000 in 1984.—(P.A.)
