Sunday Skating?

Sir—One of the major problems facing the community today is juvenile delinquency. This is occasioned largely by sheer boredom. I feel that one thing which could help the younger generation on Sunday is skating at the rink in Centaurus road. There does not seem to be any reason why this is not possible. It is a healthy occupation, far more so titan films on Sunday which are allowed. Yet the skating rink has been closed on Sunday because a few selfish people say it disturbs them. It is these self-centred people who indirectly cause vandalism. Can they think of no-one but themselves? —Yours, etc, BEER BONES. May 4. 1961.
