Fresh Elections To Be Hehl

Nominations for the seven primary school committees in the Canterbury Education Board’s district which did not have members elected last month, have to be in the hands of the former chairmen of the committees by May 22. The fresh elections will be held at the schools on May 29. The schools where householders have yet to elect committees. with the number of those to be elected in parenthesis, are:—Blackball (71. Fairton (5). Inchbonnie (5), Kumara (51. Pareora East <7l, Sydenham (9), and Te Kinga <3). Where the average attendance at the school in 1969 did not exceed 240, any householder at the meeting may nominate any other householder verbally.
