DRIVING TESTS FOR AGED
Examinations This Month
About 1300 drivers, aged 70 or more, will undergo annual tests conducted by the Christchurch City Council’s traffic department, after May 15. All drivers aged more than 70 were required under traffic regulations to undergo the annual test, said the traffic superintendent (Mr G. P. Kellar) yesterday. Applicants for the tests had to produce a medical certificate, he said. Present licences for those concerned expire on June 30.
