German Bank Rate Down
(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) FRANKFURT, May 4. The West German bank rate was lowered by } per cent, to 3 per cent, today. The rate was lowered by the council of the Federal Bank, meeting in Berlin. A Cape Town message reports that South Africa, on the other hand, has increased its bank rate from 4J to 5 per cent.
