Small Profit At Waimate
(From Our Own Reporter) WAIMATE, May 5. Increased revenue from the Totalisator Agency Board and a reduction in the amount voted for racecourse improvements enabled the Waimate Trotting Club to show a net profit of'£7s last year although the loss on the annual race meeting was more than £5OO. This was disclosed by the secretary (Mr M, J. Leonard) when accounts for the year were reviewed at a recent committee meeting.
