GRADUATION CEREMONY AT LINCOLN COLLEGE
A large crowd which filled the decorated college refectory building saw a Colourful graduation ceremony at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, yesterday afternoon. The conferment of degrees and diplomas was a recognition of certain standards in education, said the chairman of the board of governors (Mr T. D. J. Holderness). With a growing number of students entering, the college would have to make every endeavour that the value of these hallmarks was in no way impaired, but rather strengthened. The Pro-Chancellor of the University of New Zealand (Dr. L. J. Wild) then conferred the following degrees and diplomas:— Doctor of Philosophy Anthony Paul Mulcock, in agricultural microbiology.
