Death By Electric Shock.— A verdict that a young married man, Laurence Milton Colson, aged 32, was accidentally killed by an electric shock while using a portable shearing applicance at Te Aroha on March 20 was returned at an inquest on Thursday. Both the shearing appliance and the isolating transformer to which it was connected had faults, unknown to Colson, said the Coroner (Mr J. W. Crompton). Particular care should be taken by manufacturers and others to ensure that such faults were eliminated. he said.—(P.A.)
