Reception In Timaru

(N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU, May 5. Timaru television sets tonight picked up the programme from Christchurch. Reception was remarkably clear considering the distance from Christchurch, and may be expected to improve when the power of transmission is stepped up. Interference from traffic and static interference marred part of the programme, but the overall reception was much better than was expected.
