Fish Plentiful
Fish of all varieties was plentiful at the Christchurch fish markets yesterday and good supplies are also expected today A small quantity of oysters is also expected to be on sale Sole fillets sold from 5s to 5s 6d a pound in Christchurch fish shops, and whole flounders sold at 3s a pound Kingfish ranged from 2s fid to 3s and ling from 2s to 2s 3d Gurnard sold up to 2s 3d and tarakihi fillets up to 3s fid Cod ranged from 2s to 2s 6d, and gropftr sold at 3s a pound.
