NEW ENGINE FOR RAPIER
One of Britain’s most successful rally cars, the Sunbeam Rapier, is now fitted with the 1598 c.c. engine used in the Sunbeam Alpine sports car. The aluminium - head engine will boost the Rapier's power up to 80 brake horse-power. The roadholding of the Rapier has also been improved by redesigning the front suspension with a torsion anti-roil bar.
