Jumping Speedometer.—lf the hand of your speedometer jumps at low speeds, or swings about, the trouble is likely to be that the cable is bent at too sharp an angle somewhere along its course. Bends should be as sweeping as possible. Another possible cause is that the cable needs oiling. Disconnect at the speedometer end and inject a small amount of oil down the casing. Gear box oil is best.
