A small quantity of Cyprus oranges will be on sale today in the Christchurch fruit and produce markets at 69s for a case of about 751 b. A keen demand is expected. Some Hawaiian pineapples are still on sale. Cartons holding nine pineapples are selling at 40s 6d, and those containing 12 and 16 pineapples at 4?s a carton. Dessert grapefruit are now unavailable as supplies from overseas are not expected foe some time and New Zealand grapefruit, when available, is suitable only for marmalade. Dessert grapefruit will be available ■when the New Zealand grapefruit ripen.
