Control By N.A.T.O. . (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON,. May 1. Britain’s fighter command would be handed over to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation today, the “Daily Express” reported. The command, which won everlasting glory during the Battle of Britain, would now be just another unit in the European air defence system. Its chief would take his orders from N.A.T.O.
