Licensed Trade Tournament

A total of 112 players competed in the Canterbury Licensed Trade Golf Club’s mixed tournament, held yesterday at Templeton. It was only the second time in the club’s 26 years that it had held a mixed tournament. Results were:— Four-ball Bogey.—R. J. Pilkington and Mrs Pilkington. 5 up; R. T. Challis and Mrs Challis. 4 up Putting Competition.—L. J. Moorhouse and Mrs Moorhouse. 66; R. Oliver and Mrs Oliver, 67. Most Honest Golfers.—F. J. Beban and Mrs Beban, 13 down.
