MORE POLIO CASES
26 Patients In Auckland (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 2. Six more cases of poliomyelitis. including an 18-year-old nurse, were today reported to have been admitted to Auckland Hospital in the last seven days. There are now 26 patients In the isolation block. Since the outbreak began in the middle of January, 35 cases have been admitted to the Hospital and nine of them have been discharged The hospital medical superintendent (Dr. D. R. Goodfellow) said three of the 26 patients in hospital were “doubtful.”
