EDEN PARK USE
Hockey Match Permitted (NZ Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 2. The Auckland Rugby Union has granted the use of Eden Park to the Auckland Hockey Association for the first test against the Indian hockey team on June 5 However, the ground is not likely to be available for the Indians' match with Auckland on July 15. five days before the Rugby test with France The Rugby Union feels that two sets of ground markings might upset the temperamental Frenchmen.
The hockey association will have further discussions with the Rugby Union on thia matter.
