RESERVE BANK
Sterling Up £4.4m Sterling and Other exchange held by the Reserve Bank rose £4.4m to £B4m in the week ended April 19. The bank’s holding* of gold, and investments abroad, were unchanged. Reflecting the increase in minimum deposits required borrowing by the banks rose £6.5m. Main stems from the laieat .week s return, with the previous Week’s figures, are as follows:
