CRYSTAL ICE TAKE-OVERS
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 1. Two Southland ice cream concerns have accepted takeover offers by the Crystal Ice Cream Company, Ltd., of Dunedin. The two Invercargill firms are the Southland Ice Cream Company, Ltd., and Rices Ice Cream Company, Ltd. Shareholders in the Southland Ice Cream Company will receive an allotment of seven Crystal shares for each 10 Southland shares held.. Rices shareholders will receive six Crystal shares for every 10 shares they hold.
