Parking Ban Imposed
Letters from the Referees' Association and the Christchurch club complaining of the dangerous parking of cars near the No. 2 ground at the Show Grounds, caused the Canterbury Rugby League last evneing to decided that all vehicles would be banned from this area during games on Saturdays. The letter from the referees' association said some cars had been parked almost on the touch-line and it had created a very dangerous situation. The following were appointed as selectors in the lower grades, senior reserve; Messrs H. Walker and J. Davies; third grade. Messrs L. Secord and M. Wilkinson; under 18, Messrs D. Gardiner and J. Anderson: under 16 Messrs R. Woodham and R. Hurst.
Schoolboy selectors:— Under 8, E. McEwan, R. Phillips, E. Thompson; under nine. L. Wolf. G. Evans, D. Smith; under 10, 3. 'Green. W. Rollo, R. Woods; under 11. I. Sutherland L. Millar, A. Lowe; under 12. J. Pounsford, M. Kirk. M. Worten; under 13, F. Endacott. H. Smith. G. Blackler; under 14 G. Cooper, T. Cox. P. Yaxley: under 15. L. Blanchold, N. Isles, A. Meadows.
