League CANTERBURY TEAM
Match Against West Coast
The following Canterbury team to play West Coast at Greymouth next Sunday submitted by the convener of the selection committee (Mr L, R. Huston) at a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League was approved by the board of control last evening:— A. Smith. A. Amer. B. Turton. K. Harding (Sydenham); J. Bond. R. Pounsford. W. Godfrey. R. McLean. M. Mohi. E. Tavendale. K. Pearce. J. Fisher. N. Diggs. R. Carey, G. Turner, and John Flanagan. M. Cooke was not available. R. Pounsford was appointed captain, and R. Pearce vicecaptain. Mr Huston was appointed manager of the Canterbury team to play Auckland at Auckland on Saturday, May 13.
