Thieves Active In Waimate

(from (Jut (Jits Heporter) WAIMATE. May 1.

The premises of three business firms in Waimate were entered during the week-end and small sums of money were taken in two instances. Double doors barred the way into the shop when entry was made to the rear storeroom of the Farmers* grocery and hardware, and the intruders were disappointed. A key left in a door enabled entry to be gained to the premises of Car Services. Ltd. A fence was climbed and a rear window broken to gain entry to Messrs F. J and A. Colville, Ltd.’s hardware store.
