Inquiries At Forbury

(A’.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 30. After the running of the Winter Handicap at Forbury Park on Saturday night an inquiry was held into the breaking of Highland Heath, driven by R. P. Nyhan. It was found that Gay Baron, which was tuning three out and was boring badly, came in on Zany, which in turn came in on Highland Heath, causing that horse to break. No further action was taken. A further inquiry was held rnto the breaking of Gildirect, driven by C. S. Donald, at the straight entrance. It Was found that Gildireet was squeezed tor room by Aquaplane. K. Balloch was fined £l5 for careless driving. After the first division of the St Clair Handicap, an objection was lodged against the third placing being awarded to Worthy Flicker, driven by J. M. Williamson, on the grounds of interference to Morsel, driven by C. J. Mcijaughlin. After hearing the evidence, it was decided to dismiss the objection. J. M. Williamson was found guilty of careless driving. He was fined £l5. An inquiry was held into the racing manners of Hindu, driven by G. R. Shirley in the Dunedin Handicap. Hindu was declared ineligible to start at any totalisator meeting until after June 30.
