Scholarship For Apprentices
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, April 30. Support for the immediate establishment of a federation scholarship for apprentices, on the same Lines as the New Zealand Paper Merchants’ Association’s scholarship, was expressed by delegates at the annual conference of the Federation of Master Printers of New Zealand in Wanganui on Saturday. The proposal came forward as a remit from the Wellington association..
An amendment that the council be directed to establish a fund, the income from which should be used for the continuing or extension of scholastic grants to apprentices, was lost on the voices.
