Nelson Firm May Resume Work (N.Z. Press Assoctetton) GREYMOUTH. April 28. In spite of statements tn Parliament last September by the then Minister of Mines (Mr Hackett) that there would be no further Governi meat assistance to mining companies, the Nelson firm of Lime and Marble, Ltd- is ■ believed to be resuming underground uranium prospecting on its Hawks Crag : claim In the Buller Gorge, ' with Government assistance. Nothing official could be learned today, although reliable sources said that the work would go on. Newspaper inquiries were a result of an advertisement in a Nelson newspaper asking for an experienced miner to work on a stone drive of , about 100 ft on the firm’s claim.
