MIN SCOTT PICKED
City Handicap At Awapuni "The Press* Special Service AUCKLAND, April 28. Min Scott, unbeaten in her two starts to date, should go close to winning again in the City Handicap, the second leg of the T.A.B. double on the final day of the Manawatu Trotting Club’s annual meeting at Awapuni tomorrow. Min Scott, a three-year-old filly, is trained by J. S. Hunter at Trentham. She is one of the best young trotters seen in the North Island for years, and although the opposition will be strong tomorrow, she will be heavily backed to win. The consistent Wairau King and Scotsman should be the hardest for Min Scott to beat. Lorator is expected to be favourite for the first leg, the Stewards* Handicap Weather prospects are fair and the track should be in good order.
