Two properties were passed in when offered at auction in Christchurch yesterday. Eight acres 11 perches of market gardening land with a five-bedroom house at 41 Grassmere street. " Papanui. was passed in at ESSOQ. Bidding started at £5500 and rose in bids of £100: The property was offered on behalf of an .undisclosed vendor. A five-room house on a quarter-acre section at 408 Selwyn street. Addington, was passed in at £1650. Bidding started at £l5OO and rose in £5O bids. The property was offered on account of the estate of Leslie John Barwick.
