ROMNEY FLOCKS SURVEY
Committee Members Named (N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 27. A special committee has been set up to direct the survey of New Zealand Romney Marsh sheep flocks, which was announced recently. The survey will have its veterinary and field headquarters at Feilding. The committee consists of Messrs B. S. ’Trolove (Marlborough). chairman. J. R. Matthews (Wairarapa), J. G. Donald, and F. C. Johnstone (Waikato). The secretary of the committee is Mr W. B Taylor, of Wellington.
The survey, which is being financed and directed by the Romney Marsh Sheep Breeders’ Association, the meat board and the woo! board will cover diseases, fertility, nutrition and management of pedigree flocks.
