Rugby ORDERING-OFF CASES
Taranaki Takes Serious View (N.Z Press Association) N. PLYMOUTH, April 27. The Taranaki Rugby Union’s management committee has decided on a “gettough” policy to stamp out dirty play. The committee will send circulars to all clubs that it intends to take a more serious view of ordering-off cases. This decision was made after the committee had discussed the cases of five players, four of them seniors, who were ordered off in the first two series of club matches. The four seniors were stood down for two Saturdays, and the junior for four Saturdays.
