Principles for the control .g of an interdenominational iII chapel on the new Ilam cam- =s pus of the University of Can- '|g terbury were approved on-fl Monday. The Vice-Chancellor (Dr. F. J. Llewellyn) said the [fl executive had had several fl| meetings with the chapel committee (representing the § churches and students) and g it had now been agreed:— g That the chapel should be g sited among the trees in front jj of the Ham homestead. That the land and build- g ing be the property of the |s university. That the university be re- # sponsible for the mainten- || ance of the grounds and ex- ! g terior of the building. That the chapel commit- J tee be responsible for the “ internal arrangements and Sthe use of the chapel.
