That *uch ’oan be known as the Wairarapa Riding Works Loan. 1981. of £lB.OOO (hereinafter called "the said loan"). 3. That the term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall not exceed ten years 4. That the rate of Interest that may be paid In respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders, a rate exceding four and seven-eighths pounds (£4 17s 6d) per centum per annum. 5. That the said loan shall be repaid by annual redemption of debentures or stock. 8. That the payment of Interest and the repayment of principal in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand, and no amount payable as either interest or principal shall be paid out of loan moneys. 7. That the rate payable for brokerage in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not exceed one half per cent, of any amount raised. 8. That no moneys shall be borrowed under this sanction after the expiration of three years from the 24th day of March. 1981. 9. That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the setd loan and the charges thereon a Special rate of .056193 d (pence) in the £ (pound) on th* rateable value (on the heal* of capital value) of all rateable properties within the Wairarapa 10. That the form of security for the repayment of the principal and interest on the said loan shall be by means of debentures of £lOO, £5OO and £lOOO denomination, and interest coupons in conformity with the "Local Authorities Loans Act. 1936.’’ or by Registered Stock. Pursuant to the "Local Authorities Loans Act. 1936" IT IS HEREBY FURTHER PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary meeting of the Watmalri County Council to be held in the Council Chambers, corner Clyde/Jeffreys roads, Fendalton, at 730 pjn. on Thursday, 18th May, I*6l for confirmation as a Special Order. IT IS HEREBY FURTHER PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken if five per cent, of the ratepayers in the Wairarapa Riding of the County so demand by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the undersigned before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution hereinbefore mentioned.
