Obituary Mr A. A. McLachlan
Mr Archibald Albany McLachlan, who died suddenly on Monday, was chairman of the Local Government Commission and a former Christchurch barrister and solicitor. Mr McLachlan.waa born ‘in the Ellesmere district 83 years ago, and was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ High School, Canterbury University College and Victoria University College.; Before entering the legal profession lie was h teacher, fifst at Christ's ’College, then Wanganui Collegiate School and.
