MINOR FIRES
An oven fire at 18 Paddington street, the home of Mr S. Conman. caused no damage yesterday. it was attended by one unit from St. Albans at 329 p.m. A fire in trees and bales of hay at the Ministry of Works nursery at 34 Hansons lane caused, no damage. One unit from Sockburn and one from Central attended at 4.49 p.m.
