DRESS FACTORY GUTTED The dress factory of Nancy Lee Frocks in Buchan street, Sydenham, was gutted by a fire which broke out at L 37 ajn. on Monday. Several rolls of material were saved, but these were damaged by water. Twelve sewing machines were destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown, and detectives are investigating. Units from the Central and Sydenham Fire Stations attended the fire and remained there foe about two hours. The walls of the factory are still standing, and two outbuildings owned by the firm were not touched by the fire. About 18 months ago the firm's factory in Somerfield was burnt out, and the business was moved to its present site in Buchan street.
